May and Ali is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful couples I've ever seen. Remember me saying that my couples are from the movies? Well, yes, they are, and these guys just proved it one more time. They got married at the Islamic Society of Valley Forge on Friday, July 14, and threw a wonderful party for families and friends at gorgeous Morris Arboretum the next day. Morris is another love from first sight. I am lucky to live just 15 minutes from this beautiful garden, which makes it one of my favorite spots for photo sessions, whether it's an engagement session, family portraits or a maternity photo shoot. Morris Arboretum is different every time you visit! Magnificent cherry blossoms in spring, bright and blooming in summer, and soothing and charming in fall. Perfect location for any photo project :)
First time we met with May and Ali ( and bride's lovely family) on a snowy, but cozy day in January, in my favorite Chestnut Hill. I remember I said to myself : how cute, her parents came here to meet me too! What a little but powerful sign of parents' love, appreciation and care about their daughter. I always remind my couples that their wedding day is one of the most important days of their lives, not only for them, but for their parents! This is the day they've been waiting for, nothing brings them more happiness than seeing their kids happy and in love. May and Ali were the cutest, there was that tender energy between them that is so difficult to describe. They are like rose and water. Complete each other, compliment each other, look like a ONE.
It was incredibly hot on their wedding day. Incredibly great, bubbly, loud, emotional and beautiful. May looked absolutely stunning in her incredible dress she decorated with beads by herself. She was radiating elegance, rays of happiness and tender grace. Eileen did a wonderful job with May's make up, she looked perfect till the end of reception, which lasted till late, I must admit :)
I am so very lucky to know these two beautiful souls and preserve the memories forever. It was an emotional day for everyone around – something that I as a photographer love to capture. The combination of vulnerability, emotions, tears, warm hugs and crazy dances and a completely unique day led to some of my favorite photos that I am now honored to share with the world.
